How does it work?

A ski tower ad is like a small billboard placed at eye level for lift riders.

How many people visit the resorts annually?
Each resort is different, so we provide resort-specific data such as average daily visitors, age-demographic breakdown, and more so you can make an informed decision on which resort you want to advertise with.
How many people are likely to see the ads?
Some lifts are more popular than others within a resort. Pricing will vary from tower to tower to reflect how likely a random visitor is to see your ad. We provide info on the difficulty of the trails at the end of each lift so you have a better idea of the type of skier/snowboarder viewing your ad too.

Where are the ads installed on the lift towers?
They are placed towards the top of the tower. They will be at eye level as the ski lift passes by, so people actively going down the run likely won’t be able to see them.
Will my ad share space with other advertisers, or is it exclusive to one tower?
Never! Each tower you reserve will exclusively show only your ad.

Does it cost anything to be part of the ad network?
No! You simply have to agree to our policies around not sharing resort-specific data.
What are the costs for advertising on ski towers?
A fixed price will be created for each tower in a resort for one season (winter or summer). You simply choose a seasonal contract and thats the only price you pay*.
All installation, ad printing, and maintenance are included free of charge.
*If you want to change an ad mid-season, there is an additional fee.
Is there a discount for long-term or multi-season commitments?
Yes! You will see those discounts in the documents we send you for each resort you’re interested in.
How do you track the effectiveness of the ad?
There are many ways to track effectiveness, it just depends what your goals are for the ad.
We will provide reports each month with daily traffic data on the lift your tower belongs to. These are helpful to calculate metrics such as CPM, impressions, and more.

Can you help with ad design, or do I need to provide my own creative assets?
You are responsible for creating your own ad. However, we are happy to refer you to our partner design agency if that is helpful.
What are the size and format requirements for the ads?
These vary by resort and but are typically in the ~2”x3” poster range.
Can ads include QR codes or interactive elements?
Absolutely! However, remember that these are static ads and some resorts have limited internet service on the mountain.
Is there flexibility to change the ad design mid-season or during the contract?
You may change the ad design mid-season, but there is an extra cost associated with this service.

What maintenance is required for the ads over time?
Tower ads are very low maintenance. We typically only need to go out twice per season to update any inventory and check all the nuts and bolts.
How are damaged ads repaired or replaced?
If an ad is damaged (which rarely happens), we go out to replace it as soon the new ad is printed (usually less than one week) at no additional cost.
