How does it work?

A ski tower ad is like a small billboard placed at eye level for lift riders.

Where are the ads installed on the lift towers?
They are placed towards the top of the tower. They will be at eye level as the ski lift passes by, so people actively going down the run likely won’t be able to see them.
How are they installed?
Without boring you with the details, we basically wrap something around the pole and hook it into the poster. It’s impermanent, modular, and doesn’t damage the tower, yet it withstands the elements.
Does installation require any downtime for the lifts?
No! All installation and maintenance can be done while the lift is running.
What kind of equipment or preparation is needed?
None! Our tower-men can carry all the equipment they need.

What maintenance is required for the ads over time?
Tower ads are very low maintenance. We typically only need to come out twice per season to update any inventory and check all the nuts and bolts.
How are damaged ads repaired or replaced?
If you find a damaged ad (which rarely happens), please contact us right away and we will be there as soon as possible to replace it.
How easy is it to remove the ads if needed?
Super easy. Just let us know and we’d be happy to come out and service them.

Are the ads secure enough to withstand harsh weather conditions (wind, snow, ice)?
Absolutely! Have you ever seen a speed limit sign fall off its pole? Exactly. We use similar technology.
Do the ads comply with safety regulations for ski lift operations?
Yes! And we take full responsibility for staying up-to-date on our compliance.
Are there any visual obstructions for lift operators or skiers?
No! We make the posters no wider than the ski tower, so nothing is obstructed that isn’t already obstructed. Additionally, the posters are placed in such a way that they would not obstruct any portion of the lift operator’s work.

How does the resort benefit financially?
You get all the benefit without any of the work. We split all the ad revenue from the towers with the resort without any ongoing costs or effort needed from your team.
Are there revenue-sharing agreements with advertisers?
No, the advertisers pay us a fixed cost for their season’s contract, and we share that revenue with the resort.
What is the typical contract length for hosting ads?
Just the first year. Once you try us, we guarantee you’ll want us to stick around!
How much does it cost to get started?
It depends on how many ski towers you have, but typically a one-time charge of ~$5,000.

Who chooses the advertisers?
We notify all advertisers in our network whenever an opportunity becomes available at a resort. Whichever advertisers express interest would be the ones selected to advertise at your resort.
We are happy to accommodate if there are advertisers you want restricted from your resort.
Are there any restrictions on the types of ads displayed?
As a resort, you will set your own ad guidelines (using our template as a starting point) to share with advertisers.
All ad content will be sent to the resort to approve before installation. If any ads are dissatisfactory, we send them back to the advertiser with your comments. This process repeats until an ad is approved.
Can the resort use some of the space for their own promotions or announcements?
Absolutely! Free of charge, of course.
